BIO.

Taylor Mercado Owen is a jack of all trades. A graduate of the University of North Texas & THE ACADEMY at Black Box Acting.

Taylor has worked locally as an actor, director, & stage manager for companies such as Trap Door Theatre, A Red Orchid Theatre, Chicago Dramatists, Hell in a Handbag Productions, The Factory Theater, Redtwist Theatre, Theatre L’Acadie, Pocket Theatre, The Runaways Lab Theater, Fat Theatre Project, Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble, & Bump in the Night Theatre Co.

Taylor is currently a member of the 2026 Theatre L’Acadie & Pocket Theatre inc.ubator Directing Cohort and is a proud Ensemble Member of The Factory Theater.
